Ox-eye window and ventilation window
Fuxing Barn, built in 1935, was originally where rice was stored. It collected rice everywhere, symbolizing abundance. Since Japanese Colonial Period, Fuxing Township has been an important agriculture village. That’s why a barn as large as nearly 1000 pings was built there. One of the precious parts is the installation of an “ox-eye window” on the rooftop, functioned as ventilation and lighting. The special architectural structure is quite noteworthy.
The Motel is equipped with 6, 9 and 13 meters high patios, with ventilation windows where the heat goes up. It turns into a hotel able to breath in and out automatically. The guest can enjoy different atmospheres and experiences at the natural environment.
